The following conditions apply to the Handicap Series –
best four out of the eight races to count.
It is a WINTER Handicap Series and all runners will be expected to be appropriately equipped as far as clothing,
waterproofs, headtorch, map and compass are concerned; there will be no flags, drink stations or anything else
on the routes except the checkpoints themselves, which are usually orange stakes with punches attached. The
checkpoints are expected to be fairly obvious once you’re in the vicinity, the Series is about route choice and
not micro-navigation.
